RSL shows off its bling!
Andy Williams once tweeted about gettin’ f’ed up. He needed to celebrate. Real had won the Eastern Conference Championship. I do not doubt that Andy got f’ed up that night. Andy is Jamacian. I’d imagine he wasn’t the only one. I don’t believe Kyle Beckerman has dreads ’cause he’s afraid of scissors.
After Real Salt Lake won the MLS Cup I too needed to party. Problem is, my ancestors came from a different island nation, Great Brittain. I don’t have the f’ed-up gene. Truth be told, my genome looks like an ASCII picture of an ottoman. I like ottomans. They look nice and they’re practical. I imagine Andy’s genome looks like a water pipe…a beautiful bong-like double helix.
Real Salt Lake fulfilled my need to cut loose. They hosted a party Tuesday evening for the fans and the community. Thousands of us braved the cold to honor the MLS Champion Real Salt Lake organization. Team owner Dave Checketts, coach Jason Kreis, team captain Kyle Beckerman, goalkeep Nick Rimando and others addressed us. They showed off their trophies. We cheered. We sang. It was very nice. Like an ottoman.
That dude on the field…the pole dancer guy…he likes to party like Andy!
It was stinking cold, but sweet to see all the players up close. Good times
