stadiumBenificialDec10Things are progressing nicely at the site. The sod has been laid. The facility is going to be amazing! A source tells the Asylum that the stadium will seat somewhere around 250k. Another tells us that the rumored price for a churro will be $22.50.

Which teams will play the inaugural match? The rumor mill is buzzing with talk about Real Madrid or Barcelona. A source close to stadium owner Dale Schanze reports that Dale is leaning toward Liberty Heights’ All Girl’s Catholic Prep vs. a Karchner Electric sponsored team. You may remember that mid Timmy Altschafl took the team all the way to the Men’s Over 30 city league championship in the late 90’s.
